Dr. George Katsantonis

Dr George Katsantonis a native of Greece came to the United States in 1974, after graduating from the University Athens Medical School and completing a compulsory service in the Greek Military (Navy). He completed 5 years of residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at St Louis University Medical School in July 1979 and subsequently practiced in St Louis. He became board certified in October 1979.

Along with his private practice in Otolaryngology, Dr Katsantonis held a part time faculty appointment at St Louis University where he had the opportunity to teach and further expand his expertise in Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Reconstructive Surgery, Sinus Surgery and Surgical treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring.

Dr Katsantonis is the author and co-author of multiple scientific papers and book chapters pertaining to fields of his expertise. He has presented his work in many scientific conferences and has been the instructor in multiple courses.

In addition to the management of Allergy and Sinus problems his interest is also focused on the surgical management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Snoring. His work and research in this area is known worldwide and he is considered a pioneer in this field.

He is a member of many scientific/professional societies, among which are, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the International Sleep Surgery Society and the American Triologic Society.

Dr Katsantonis, a naturalized American citizen, has joined the Ear Nose and Throat Family Clinic of Wisconsin bringing all his experience, skill and expertise to our practice.
